Can i play ff7 on xbox 360

Xbox One players who still want a chance at visiting Midgar, however, can still play the original Final Fantasy VII , even if they'll have to wait a long time for Remake. By now, FF7 Remake players are probably aware that the new game only covers a fraction of the original's story, so if you just want to cover your bases for the eventual FF7 Remake port to Xbox One, play at least the first part of the game that takes place in Midgar up until Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII leave the city.

Still, there's a lot of game after that point, so you can continue playing if you want to know where the story will go eventually. The remake was released back in via the PS4 and the PS4 only. This year, it finally came to PS5, but nothing else. There's been rumors and rumblings and leaks suggesting the remake is coming to not just Xbox consoles, but PC as well. However, the idea has never been outright rejected, so there does remain a possibility that we might eventually see an Xbox release, though it is unclear when.

As Sony's biggest console rival in the Japanese gaming market, many Nintendo fans would also likely greatly appreciate a Switch port of FF7 Remake. Once again, no official word has ever been announced as to whether or not the game will someday come to the Switch. However, given the system's hardware limitations in comparison to the PS4, it seems unlikely at this time that we will see a Nintendo version of FF7 Remake anytime soon.

Back in July , the official Xbox Facebook account in Germany "accidentally" posted a message indicating the game would come to Xbox in March Obviously, that didn't end up coming to pass, but there's good reason to hope that we'll see Xbox One and Series X versions of the game out soon after Square Enix's exclusivity agreement expires in April Back in February , Xbox head Phil Spencer said one of the team's goals with Series X is to make the console more appealing in Japan.

Presumably, that means ensuring that marquee Japanese-made games come to the platform. It remains to be seen whether the PC release will coincide with the Xbox version, or if Intergrade content will be included on PC. Will it take that long for FF7 Remake?
